Money that could be used elsewhere. Most of all the children need to come first, not being politically correct. Not all voices where heard on this subject because not everyone could be heard in the time that they allowed.

I see no need to change the names. You can't change the history of this area and the names of the schools should not offend anyone. It would cost a lot of money to rename and provide new equipment and I think that kind of money could be put to better use. I think the names should stay how they are!

The name was based on a local historic figure. History is unchangeable no matter how hard everyone tries to erase it. Regardless $500k isn’t worth changing a name during this time. There is so many other issues our county’s public school needs to address that is much more important for our children’s education.
