Shea Road is the primary bike route from Richmond to Stittsville/Kanata. Our kids use it to get to Sacred Heart and to the GRC, workers use it to commute to work. Not only is it narrow, it desperately requires paving to be safe for cyclists. The City of Ottawa has said that it is not due to be paved until 2013 or 2014 - that's 4 years from now!! Please add your voice by signing this petition - maybe, maybe it will actually cause them to reconsider and pave it sooner.
