6-8 months ago, the Shaws Grocery Store in Stowe Vermont was changed, most would say for the worse. Variety left the store, and the new layout of the store made finding items difficult, bordering on impossible. The cashiers would always ask "did you find everything you were looking for" and when the answer came back as "NO", their response was "we hear a lot of that lately.
If you dislike the Shaws in Stowe and now prefer to shop elsewhere, BUT would return to the store if its former status was restored, with good variety of products, laid out properly, please take the time to sign this petition and make your voice heard at the Shaw's Head Office in Massachusetts.

The volume of engagement has reached a level that demands a formal response from the regional management team. I have compiled the current feedback into a report and scheduled a meeting with the store operations director to present our specific demands for layout and inventory revisions.

The shaws in Stowe is a very big disappointment. We come to Stowe most every weekend and always did our grocery shopping there. But since they re-engineered the store, we find that many products we used to buy are no longer on the shelves, and the new layout of the aisles is not very user friendly. We now go elsewhere to shop, and whats worse is that no matter how much we complain in the store, no issues are being addressed. Adios Shaws....hello Price Chopper.
We have been shopping at Shaws in Stowe since its inception After the new layout and the change in stocking policy our family shops at hannafords where we can find the products we want in the quantities we need It would be a pleasure to shop again at Shaws if the situation is remedied Andre Levy Stowe VT

I have stopped going to Shaws after 10 year's The products have change and cannot find The items which I need. I stop for basic items, There is no bakery at all and the produce is no good. I now go to Hannoford's. It is too bad I miss the old store. I also shop more at Macs . Service is better. And they have much better selection.
We have basically stopped shopping here unless it is for basic items. The fresh produce is of such poor quality and so inconsistent. We now stop each weekend at the Waterbury store on the way into town. There is no comparison to the Stowe store. Thank goodness for the independent smaller stores in Stowe.
Happy something is finally being done to bring this store back up to standard. Thank you from the Smargs!

The new arrangement is awful. Shaws management turned what was a nice compact user friendly easy to find stuff full service market into glorified gas station mini mart.
