The Lavoz advertising newpaper is being delivered to the Sharpstown area and it is just unwanted trash. It is like littering. It is filling the landfills and wasting natural resources. It is making the neighborhood look trashy because most people do not pick it up - it stays in their yards till there are like 2-3 papers in the bright orange wrappers sitting around. Most of Sharpstown residents are not Hispanic, but even the Hispanic population is not picking it up. It is an unwanted piece of litter.
I was told the reason for tossing is because the majority of Sharpstown is Hispanic; the majority of Houston is Hispanic. The Chronicle hasn't done a good job on researching demographics; they're desperate for readership so throw it on everyone's lawn, adding litter. They never asked anyone!!!!
