A new Severn Crossing from Sharpness to Lydney would bring jobs, investment and opportunities to both communities either side of the river.
To travel from Dursley to Lydney, or Stroud to Coleford, currently takes around an hour, travelling either through the centre of Gloucester, or across the river at Chepstow, at a cost of £6.40.
A new Severn Crossing at Sharpness would cut costs and travel time considerably, linking up communities and encouraging growth and opportunities.
