As tennis fans already know, earlier this year Maria Sharapova was banned from competing in professional tennis following her usage of the drug meldonium. She is now allowed to return to compete in the French Open. However, I believe that the tennis organisation should bring her back earlier to make an appearance at the australian open 2017 as she is clearly allegable and fit to play earlier. Also, the womens draw is not looking too good as many top players are withdrawing from this tournament including: Azarenka,Ivanovic, Kvitova, and Madison keys. Without these top players the viewing rate of the Aus open 2017 will drop significantly.
