This shouldn’t even be a question on whether or not the statue should be displayed. The bigger question should be why would we NOT honor this American hero by displaying it and inspire others to follow in his footsteps with this statue?!?!

The statue is a memorial to more than one local Boulder City hero. This is a statue that envelopes a pride our city has for anyone that willingly puts their life on the line for our safety and freedom of our country. It’s inspirational to men and women that are veterans or have family that’s served, and also to future generations. No one will be forgotten in this city and we will hold them and their families up.
