The Shadowfax paint colours are phenomenal. Since when are yellow & purple not heritage colours?

I love the new color scheme chosen for Shadowfax. It gets your attention and makes you want to go in and browse. Well done Angie !

Love the colours on Shadowfax...we need more vibrant colours instead of the dowdy greys and browns in the downtown...Get with it Perth! Tourists love to see a cheery town!

The town of Perth should be looking at some of the disaster place in Perth for example Mr Gas site. Make sure the town looks nice and vibrant.

Variety is the spice of life. Why do we all have to conform to one certain way? We need to celebrate diversity not crush it.

Cannot the narrowmindedness and lack of vision and foresight that would preclude such beautiful innovation!

The colours are very appealing and it's very tasteful. The street needs to be spruced up a bit it's very boring and uninviting.

I think this paint job/colors look amazing! And still has a historical look. I read the whole story. I am supportive of the business. This mayor and historical guidelines need to be adjusted. The colors are vibrant and inviting, especially with the fall season upon us. All the businesses should spruce up a bit instead of keeping up with old color palettes. If the mayor thinks out of the box he is in, it will invite people to the town. I believe in keeping the historic feel/look of a building but have no problem with paint. And dear mayor of Perth, it's only paint...not neon signs. And also Mr.Fenik (mayor) of Perth, opening up a gaming place is much different than paint, that would require a business license. I have lived in Alberta, Canada all my life, but the Ottawa Valley has been home for me. And I have always loved driving through small towns such as this. And would definitely pull over and stop if I seen this store and walk through the downtown...but when they all look alike with the old brown/black/beige (old paint colors)...whatever. Many towns/cities are trying to rejuvenate their downtown's to attract customers and/or tourists....This paint job does it!

This Storefront looks fantastic. The other stores would also look better with some colourful accents to contrast with their heritage bricks. Shadowfax looks very tasteful. How does anyone know what colour the original trims were since all photos would have been black and white in those days. Get creative and revitalize your town if you want to attract more tourism!! don't be old and boring!!!

So the bright blue of Balderson Kids is acceptable? So is the bright red of the Skye Dragon and the green of Burns Jewellers?
It is totally unfair that they allow other businesses to paint the colours they want, yet they have an issue with yours!
