Looks beautiful - in keeping with the quirkiness of the shop - looks better and more interesting than most of the shops in Perth

Come on, stodgy Perth colour police - your town depends a lot on tourists. The brick still shows. Check out your image - 200 years ago they used what colours were available at the time. Ask Shadowfax what has happened to their sales sine the repaint. I this not a lesson for the rest of the town?

This shop is beautiful and the town should have no right to choose how or what colour to paint Any business....expand your heritage colour palette

I love the colours. Perth needs to focus on more important issues than paint.

An owner should be allowed to paint his store with colors he/she has chosen. This store is very presentable.

I live in Edmonton now, but grew up in Perth. I visit twice a year and I always make sure that Shadowfax is a store I make it to when I'm in Perth. It's a unique store inside and should be left a unique store outside!! I love it!

I think it is neat and those colours should help bring business. It stands out nicely!

Loosen up Perth! It's neon signs and tacky chain stores we need to protect our downtown from... not classic Perth stores like Shadowfax. The colours add an interesting flair to a street that has suffered many store closures in recent years.

Seriously? What would be the rational behind such a by-law?! Love the colours ... reminds me of NL and Cape Breton. They celebrate colour and the results are spectacular. Kind of hoping the paint doesn't fade on the storefront. Perhaps other stores should follow suit...what a lively downtown Perth that would be.

Change is good and with online competition for customers, businesses need to stand out. This just adds to the great flavour of Perth!

Geez, I like it. Seems to me some of the other stores could use a little sprucing up.
