Mr. Martland did the right thing to protect a child and his mother. Martland should not be punished like this. Help him and all our fighting men and women stand up for what is right. Also, he showed admirable restraint in not killing the rapist.

I retired from SWC 1Dec 14.
I graduated from class 2-92 as an 18 C and completed O & I June 98 . After 4 tours in Afghanistan I would have no problem having SFC Martland as my OPS SGT .
Reinstate now and relieve those who are prosecuting him . Also put a real NCO in place of the current CSM of the Army .

Charles Martland, Sergeant First Class, U. S. Army Green Berets, and Daniel Quinn, Captain, U. S. Army, should be considered HEROES, for their actions, taken to protect the lives of an innocent child and his mother! What would YOU do, if it was YOU or a member of YOUR family that was a victim of the horrible crime that those two brave soldiers were trying to prevent from continuing! THINK about IT!!!!
