I am speaking on behalf of many Americans: We are outraged at our government for dishonorably discharging SFC Charles Martland. We want him reinstated with honor; we also want him and his family to know that we stand by him and his actions. It is always the duty of an American citizen or soldier to stand for the oppressed, the innocent, and the vulnerable. The exploitation of children is a disgrace and a disgrace to the country of America for turning a blind eye to it. The rape and torture of children should not be a respected cultural difference it is a violation of basic human rights and is a crime against humanity and should be treated as such. SFC Charles Martland picked up the ball where our government dropped it, he should not have had to defy orders to protect this child, he should have been ordered to do so. In any case men like SFC Charles Martland are the men we want representing our country and fighting for our freedom.

When an action needs to be acted upon because your moral compass tells you and points you to act, you act. Then our society tells us it is wrong, then it is time to stand up , be counted and change society so that our moral compass stays true.

As an Army Special Forces Master Sergeant, I fully support SFC Martland and publicly state that I will not comply with the policy of cultural relativism being enforced by this administration.
