This is a travesty. SFC Martland should have his relief for cause removed from his records and the chain of command should be investigated. He was protecting a raped child and is now getting removed from the military. This should be immediately stopped.

Shame on the government and SFC Martlands commanders for cowing to the Obama administrations pathetic attempt to politicize this event. Mass rape of young, poor and orphaned boys runs rampant in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
SFC Martland did what we as Americans expect him to do. I praise his courage.

Our nation's "leaders" are wicked indeed. Morality is not something many will stand up for these days. So I commend you SFC Martland. I know this situation is angering, but remember that Jesus said, "they know not what they do." So pray for the wicked to change their ways. And if you haven't already, repent of your own sins (even though they be not as egregious as those of others), and find out who Jesus is and what He did for YOU. It is the best way to deal with the anger that comes out of situations like this.

Who's the cowardly piece of shit that decides to punish one of our countries finest serviceman for his actions protecting a child from another piece of shit that wants to rape little boys ? Maryland should have been awarded at the highest level ! And the fucking coward in the decision of Martlands dismissal should be have his nuts cut off and shoved down his fucking throat !!!
