I would've done much much worse than shove this low life piece of sh#t. He would suffer great pain where I come from, to do that to a young boy and then beat his mother, oh the things and pain that he would have coming to him.

Purge his records and promote him! Demote his superiors all the way up to Commander in Chief!

This man deserves a promotion, not an involuntary discharge. Please turn this around and take the RIGHT action.

Support our military, especially those with an exemplary history of service and who wish to make it a life long career. The good Lord only knows, these individuals are few and far between.

This man should receive a promotion and a commendation for exemplary service, not being tossed out of the armed forces.

What is our government thinking? To lose our good military personal instead of building it up.

Please review this case and ensure this isn't the message we send to our future heroes in the armed forces, that doing the right thing is punishable!

Army Secretary McHugh. We, the American people, demand U.S. Army Green Beret SFC Charles Martland not be “involuntarily separated” from the U.S. Army on November 1, 2015. We demand his retention and his personnel records expunged of any negative report related to his actions in defending a little Afghan boy and his mother. We demand that SFC Martlan be immediately promoted to Master Sergeant and allowed to continue his impeccable service as an elite Army warrior. We the American people will settle for NOTHING less.

Its really sad that not only the child and his mother are victims, our soldier now is also been victmized by his own turning their back on him for doing something right.
