This man should be getting recognized for his actions, not punished. We are just signalling the the US is OK with this sort of behavior. Sad.

This Green Beret patriot and all-around decent man should be given a medal! He showed great restraint in not putting a bullet between the Afghan rapist SOBs eyes when the SOB started laughing about what he did to the poor boy, IMHO.

The United States military is and has been turning a blind eye to rape for a half a century or more, and kicking someone out of the military because they shoved a rapist to the ground kinda falls in line with that rule of thumb. We need more, NOT less people serving our country, like SGT Martland!
And, THAT is what makes me shake MY damn head! I support my country and the good soldiers who defend her; Soldiers like SGT Martland!
