We MUST protect our brave men and women. This gentleman did nothing wrong. He needs to be given respect for trying to protect others.

I support the decorated Green Beret's actions. Stop the corruption or the US will be the laughing stock of the world.

This soldier merits reinstatement.

SFC Martland is an American Hero who deserves to keep his place in our Armed Forces, while his commanders that have pushed to kick him out of the Army should be the ones forced to leave! Restore this Green Beret to his proper place in the Army!

Request SFC Charles Martland be retained in his duties, personnel records be expunged of this incident, not be involuntarily separated, AND, be promoted to Master Sargent ASAP.

This fine young man did the honorable thing by confronting the person who raped this young boy and then beat his Mother for reporting it. When the offender just laughed about it he showed great restraint by only shoving him, outrage at his behavior would cause many upstanding men to do him great bodily harm or even kill him. We need men such as SFC Martland in our armed services.

What is our military coming to when you can't defend a young boy who was raped and his mother beaten. If thats what we are fighting for send all our troups home.

Allow Army airborne, Martlan, to stay in the Army and take away all the charges for defending a 12 yr old boy who was being raped. That is the type of service all military and humanitarians are called to do. What is wrong with your thinking. He should be getting an award not being dismissed for his actions.

This is wrong! This officer did exactly what any US military person should have done, Protect! What is wrong with the commanders in the US armed forces. Come on, get it right, Mr. Martland should be commended not condemned for his actions!!!!!!

His record should stand for him, this is an injustice to say the least! He did what any decent man would do. Let him stay in the service where he belongs.
