That is messes up what they are making him do.. I was going to join the army a couple years ago but I changed my mind due to all the turn arounds they had in the service these past couple years...

As a former Sailor in the United States Navy, I am a pallet that the United States Army would even consider denigrating this excellent soldiers name and career over the shoving of a scumbag child rapist, and beater of women!!! This man should be congratulated for his moral fiber, and the convictions that made him step up in defense of the innocent. When did it happen that it's now the right thing to uphold evil, and punish someone who doles out justice to a total scumbag like that Afghan pedophile?? I no longer recognize the America that I served to protect, and if this country goes through with this heinous act, it deserves the righteous retribution of the people of the United States of America. Shame on you people for even considering what you've done to these brave soldiers!!!

This man should NOT be discharged; he should be awarded another medal for his actions.

The reason our special forces are so incredible besides being outstanding, courageous warriors is that their training has instilled in them the ability to think in their feet and make value judgements. What's being done to this hero is nothing short of leaving him behind BY HIS OWN COMMANDERS. Isn't that the opposite of the warrior mantra. That NO MAN SHALL BE LEFT BEHIND? absolutely disgraceful.

This is one of Our American Heros doing what is to be the right and honorable thing. Standing up for those that could not fight back for themselves. It's disgusting that you terminate this man's career over shoving a child molester and abuser of women. How dare you not stand up for Our Troops, they did not ask to go to war but they have answered that call of duty and honor. Reinstate him immediately and you should be thankful for Men and women like them.

Please explain why a decorated combat soldier, who stood up for what is right and just is being involuntary discharged from the Army that he has proudly and selflessly served. This goes against everything that myself as a former Non-Commissioned Officer was taught me, by those who came before me. What has happened to the Army that I once proudly served? To discharge this elite warrior would not only be a shame, but it glaringly highlights all that is wrong with today's "PC" military.
