As an Army mom AND grandmother of 12, I cannot believe this is even up for consideration. DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO CHARLES EXCEPT THANK HIM FOR HIS SERVICE AND ALLOW HIM TO CONTINUE!

It's a shame that we have to sign this petition in the first place, but I stand with SFC Charles Martland first in his service to the United States of America and second to humanity, "all of humanity", in the face of evil.

This is an outrage and is due soley to Obama's war on the military. If there is an decency left in this world, please see that SFC Martland is absolved of any wrong doing.

He did what any good, American would do. I'm proud of him and he should not be punished for doing the right thing.

He's getting punished for being a moral man of integrity. That is wrong. Let him continue to serve. Thanks

The Americans that took down terrorist I. A train to Paris stepped in and are heroes, as they should be. Why should he be a hero for standing up to help a child. He is a wonderful man in my sight. You can't train him to act and then punish him for it!
