if his dismiss moves forward it will be a disgrace. Our President would move Heaven and Earth to ensure continuation of service and would create a Presidential medal for this brave man if he were Muslim and, justified or not, injured or killed an American. I pray our government does the right thing, for once, and not only grants SFC Martland the chance to continue his service, but also commends his brave actions.

This man did his job - protecting people from tyrants. The US government is being a hypocrite from punishing him for an act of bravery that we would treat him as a hero here at home. The American people would not accept it if someone ignored the situation instead of stepping in or reporting it to someone who could. Great job soldier!
