This Green Beret did what a man should do - stop the wussification of our Army! Please do the right thing and not kick this GB out.

The charges against this Green Beret should never have been made in the first place. What is our military coming to? He deserves honor and not the way he is being treated!

If this man is given anything other than a commendation, it will be a travesty of justice!

I respectfully request that you allow this HERO to go back to his duties and continue on. Nothing to see here, folks!

I stand solidly behind SFC Martland in his defense of this young boy. If anyone deserves punishment it would be the Commanding Officer who knew of the offense being committed against the child and did nothing.

It is rediculious that we even have to be signing a petition! America has become soft in this stupid PC world.

This man defended the defenseless-how can you justify punishing that?? Wish more members of Congress were like this man and KNEW what the right thing to do is!

If nothing our Troops do over there is acceptable to the White House, why are we there?

I believe in the chain of command but I also believe each case must addressed on its merit alone. America needs soldiers like this! Don't throw him away.

They should be ashamed of themselves that is not the military I used to serve, you know the military that taught me honor integrity selfless service determination. The officer that brought charges upon him in the first place should be the one getting kicked out not this fine example of a soldier.

As a veteran, I am appalled that anyone would even consider punishing a person who had taken matters into his own hands over a child's being raped. What has our country become?

Praying for this hero and thanking him, which everyone should be doing!
