This soldier did the right thing by standing up for someone hat couldn't defend them selves. He deserves to stay in the military and should be given a medal instead of the threat of being kicked out!

It is unconscionable how the Obama regime appeases our enemies and punishes our heroes. This "culture" is making its way into our armed forces, which are punishing upstanding model soldiers and citizens like SFC Martland for exemplary, patriotic and heroic actions. SFC Martland deserves and apology and full reinstatement. The people responsible for discharging him need to be reprimanded.

This soldier should stsy in the service for his bravery of keeping peace and freedom! This soldier was doing his duty in protecting this child and mother from a wrongful act of man kind. If you don't see this then our country is going to hell!!

I am so embarrassed for our leaders who would even consider punishing this individual for his brave act. This is the reason we are in the most embarrassing times of American History due to elected leaders trying to degrade the up and moral individuals. I pray God's protection over this individual and that Congressman Hunter will realize that his efforts will be judged.
