I want to see a nationwide movement, supported/led publicly by U.S. Congressmen and U.S. Senators, that shines a light on this Martland travesty and ALL other cases like his, with the aim of reversing the DOD's decision.

This is an American hero who should be rewarded for his actions. He displays the American spirit of doing what is right and is a great example to the world that America is a great country.

Please forward my comment to allow him to continue to serve. We live in a mixed up place where helps are treated as criminals and criminals treated as heros. We need men like this.

Time to stop degrading our military and stand up for what's right. Only under this administration have our military and police became an enemy for doing the right thing and their job. Right is right no matter what the fool in the Whitehouse says!

We train out war fighters to do a job and expect them to maintain high moral standards and then punish them for doing it.

I am appalled at the notion that the United States of America would condescend to the political correctness and tolerance of a culture that sees the homosexual rape of a 12 year old boy and the beating of his mother as acceptable. SFC Hunter did what any man would have done to protect a child in our society. Had this happened in America he would be honored as a hero. The fact that it happened in Afghanistan and he is being treated as a criminal tells America that, once again, our choice of allies is poor.

Doing the right thing shouldn't have a punishment.
