This man has done nothing wrong and should be allowed to continue his service. His job as a soldier is to protect others who cannot project themselves and to fight for freedom, and that is exactly what he was doing. To deny him too serve would mean you support the actions of the rapist.

To kick this soldier out of the Army is the wrong thing to do for not only this soldier. It sends a message to those serving not to do what is just because the Army will not stand behind you. This weakens military moral and fighting spirit. Thus soldier defended a young boy and his mother who could not defend themself. He deserves a medal not all this political nonsense.
