I find it completely ridiculous that a decorated shoulder with an astonishing career would be discharged over his actions against a child rapist. This insanity MUST STOP NOW!!

This is outrageous Start standing up for our Warriors instead of stabbing them in the back...No wonder morale is so bad in the US..

Our military is in Afghanistan & Iraq to protect its people from criminals like this so-called police chief. SFC Martland was upholding the rule of law & protecting a family from further brutality. How dare he be punished! Clear his name, clear his record, & give the man an ARCOM for his decision to intervene on behalf of the child & mother!

Thank you for your service SFC Charles Martland! I am active duty Air Force, I would have done the exact same thing if I was in that position. I believe it would be wrong to not handle it the way it was handled.

We need more soldiers to stand up and defend the innocent around the world. This gentleman did the honorable and RIGHT thing by defending the woman and her son. The order to do nothing was unlawful and therefore a violation of his duties under his oath. I stand with SFC Martland.

Don't the teach honor and courage, and to always do the right thing at West Point. He deserves a medal, those that would prosecute him are not worthy to lead

SFC Martland did his duty, and he should be allowed to continue to serve in the US Army. We need more morally courageous soldiers like him.
