Many things have changed in the military in the last 6 years, a deserter gets praised for what he did, but a someone that defends a weak person gets punished?. Our military as become nothing more than a political hand, do as I say or you will be released if duty. The military is supposed to defend the weak, when will the do it again? Leave people that do the right thing alone and go after the ones that don't.

This man is a hero in so many ways. He did what we all wish we could do in the same situation. Suck it up Uncle Sam , leave this brave man to continue to serve Our Great Country .If he can do what is right and justified then we're all bound for hell...

That a petition has to be generated to get the bosses to pay attention is very demonstrative of what is wrong with the government, and higher echelon's of the military today. Sad, sad state of affairs !!

I think the 'higher-ups' in the military hove lost their minds along with their common-sense and common-decency. Here's a man who stands for everything every American does/should, and you want to do THIS to him? Unthinkable.
