The fact that he is (not-so-quietly) being discharged for some reason I am sure the military has a "legitimate" reason for, but in reality goes back to his treatment of this child-rapist - treatment I believe was far less than the pedophile deserved - is absurd.
Has our military become so steeped in PC rules that it can no longer function at its intended purpose : to defend our country and our allies and to protect those who cannot protect themselves from the evils in this world?

The Army's decision to discharged SFC Charles Martland for defending a child rape victim against a rapist is beyond disgraceful. This decision puts the Army on the side of rapists and women beaters. It is absolutely appalling!!!! Whoever handed down this decision is not deserving of wearing the uniform. That is how outrageous it is!

As a retired US Navy Officer I find it incredibly stupid the actions of these US Army Officers. They should be removed from all positions of responsibility and demoted. SFC Charles Martland should be commended for his actions.
