It is egregious that one of our soldiers should be treated this way. In this country, we don't allow for double jeopardy. He was already punished for his actions (though personally I think that was stupid), why is he being punished a second time? Enough with treating our military men and women with such disrespect.

God Bless this man for defending an innocent child, as the whole world should be doing. How could anyone think that HER life doesn't matter, I'm so proud of SFC Charles for caring so much that he put her before himself!

He should be rewarded for standing up and confronting this rapist instead standing aside and doing nothing. That rapist should been made to feel the same as that child. We need policies to protect the good guys.
