He should be awarded and not punished for defending a child & his mother. I honestly thought that was one of the reason we are fighting this war. I thought Defending the people from oppression & terrorism is the reason our troops are so gar from home. How dare the people who is trying to punish this man.. this Soldier for doing his job and I do not care that some stupid little man got offended by it. That man who committed the atrocities onto the boy & the mother, He should be punished & held accountable for his actions. All I see is that a Good man...A Decent man being tried & punished for doing his job and that is not fair. That is not right. Since when did things become so bad that our own military feels the need to punish one of our own Soldiers for doing what's right? Has our military become nothing more than puppets for the people over there? I thought it was our job... our military job to PROTECT the innocent , the defenceless, the old & the young people who needs our help defending them. It's a truly sad day for our soldiers...for our country when we punish the people for protecting those who cannot protect themselves. What kind of message are we sending to the rest of our soldiers? What message our we sending our enemies? By prosecuting our own men...we are telling everyone especially our enemies that it's okay to continue the atrocities because we will be to busy prosecuting our own Soldiers to properly defend the people we were sent to defend. I think it's past time for Our People to get off their assessment and Stand up for our Soldiers. We need to support them... to back them up especially when our leaders are being stupid enuf to prosecute them for doing their jobs. If we aren't willing to support our military. ..our troops then who will? If we can't support & defend them from wrong prosecution then why should they place their lives on the line to keep us safe?
