The Army coddles Bergdahl, yet ruins the career of a decorated soldier, SFC Charles Martland, who did the right thing? Shame on the Army and DOD. SFC Martland should be praised if not promoted.
If someone's idea of political correctness has taken over Army and DOD brass, then I am more afraid of them, than the missing 70 submarines off the coast of S. Korea.

I completely support this soldier, who in my opinion is a HERO!
I am a military spouse, and I am saddened by the direction the Army is headed, and the troop cuts that continue to weaken our country's security. What does it say about America, when a soldier defends an innocent child.... And is Punished as a result?
I applaud you Sgt Martland for your courage.... Fight on, we have your back and thank you for your dedicated service.

My God!! What an obvious disgrace!! This Obomination Nation is so disgusting. I just don't know what to really say here. It's just so frickin unbelievable that this could actually be a true story! I attended The Citadel, spent 6 years in the Marine Corps infantry and 8 years as a pilot in the Army and I'm just so angered by this! May all those responsible for this action be identified, ridiculed, punished and ousted from office themselves. A DAMN SHAME by all measures!
