People in Washington need to start listening to the people of this nation and who put them there in the first place.. This man DOES NOT need to be punished!! Our government needs to SUPPORT our military men and women when they help citizens in any way, even if it is outside the "scope of their duties".. Things don't always happen buy the book, or on official duty time!!

SFC Martland responded with high moral integrity in an outrageously heinous situation, standing up for the honor and safety of a young boy and his mother. THANK YOU Congressman Hunter for championing this warrior's cause.

When will our country quit discrediting our military? You send us into battle but we should not be political cannon fodder. This Special Forces solider has earned the right to be honorably discharged upon his choosing not Washington or some political general officer.

The people who need to be kicked out are the cowards who are bending over for the Afghanis. Whoever made the decision to remove this soldier from duty is an embarrassment to this country and an affront to all that our country is supposed to stand for.
