Retired 27 yr vet NCO & comm. ofcr saw military hirarchy going PC early "70s. If we don't turn things around in the SFC Charles Martland case our DOD is going down the tubes and dragging our Nation's Protectors and National Secuity with it. No more honor, integrity, and courage means no U.S.,as we've known it. Soon sad. . . . .

This is outrageous. I have seen injustice but rarely in the military as it is today.

It is unbelievable to me that the Army would punish a man for standing up for a woman and her little boy. The Afghani police officer kept that child chained to the bed and raped him repeatedly...and this is one of multiple offenses by the Afghani police. IMO they should have beat the man to a pulp.

The charges against SFC Charles Martland, are immoral, and reek of political correctness, instead of justice. Shame on the US Government for their actions in this matter. Only the Army can undo their shameful actions against SFC Martland, and do the RIGHT thing by clearing his record and re-instating him, and promoting him to where he should have been at this point in his life.

I am disgusted that our US Army wants to "involuntarily discharge" this serviceman. Our government needs to take a hard look at this situation and admit their mistake. SFC Charles Martland should be given a medal for what he did -- at least he had the courage and morals to stand up for what is wrong.

We personally know Charles Martland. My husband worked with him at the Special Forces Combat Dive school. Everyone that knows him will tell you he is a stand up guy and the epitomy of what our SF soldiers should be! You want him protecting our country! He did what any of our honorable amazing SF guys would've done. We stand and serve proudly beside you Martland!! Thank you for all you have done and sacrificed...we know your war stories and you are fearless and loyal! Much love!

His service is greatly appreciated. We need people who have this strength of character in the military. This administration is very sad. Keep him in the military.
