This Green Beret did the morally correct thing in protecting a woman from being beaten by a corrupt police official. SFC Martland should be reinstated immediately!

I am a U.S. Navy Veteran.I voluntarily served for a total of 8 years Active Duty and Active Reserves-Honorable discharge from both.I am outraged by the way SFC Martland is being treated.These people deserve better than this!

This is one of the most disgusting. outrageous and offense acts to come out of the Obama administration. When an American is punished for doing the honorable and right thing In defense of a helpless child - we then punish him? What is wrong with Washington! You have lost touch with the basic honor and integrity of the American people and our military. Shame on you.

He was doing the right thing and you kno.it. This man is still trying to stay military even though yall are doing this nonsense to him. How about if that girl was sister, mother , or daughter? Would you thank him then? Does our govt have yalls ass by ur lil bbs where you're scared there is goin to be some backlash? What about our other brothers in France? Was this not popular enough for him to get thanked and praised for his bravery?

SFC Charles Martland is an outstanding Green Beret of proven moral fiber, integrity, and courage who has fallen victim to widespread Army drawdown policies that should not apply to this American hero.
