Our military policy should be that we don't stand by and let people rape others. We should have inprisoned that offender. Martland is a hero.

With the actions against this solider, the U.S. becomes complicit in the crime against the Afghan child and his mother. What kind of message does this send? The Army's behavior brings shame on all of us.

Unbelievable! Why would our country punish a decorated Green Beret war hero for doing the "right thing"? Shameful!!!!

The armed forces recruit on average about 5000 non-citizens a year.
Per President Barack Obama’s directive last fall, the U.S. Army is enlisting illegal aliens into its ranks.
But an 11 year veteran soldier, Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland is expendable because of PC bull.
Keep our hero in the army.

This is shameful! A good man and a good soldier is being persecuted for standing up for a young boy who was raped by a twisted pervert. Why send our troops overseas to protect people if they're going to be kicked out for doing exactly that? It's the "president" that needs to be kicked out--now.

As a Vietnam veteran and a Marine parents this is the most despicable event that is happening to one of our best Warriors. Shame on brig. Gen. Christopher Haas for starting this whole thing.

It never thought an American hero would be drummed out of the United States military to make a child rapist and women beater happy.

My understanding of the SF doctrine is that they are meant to win the hearts and minds of the Afghan people. When begged for protection against tyranny, SFC Martland fulfilled that obligation and made Americans proud. I am at a loss for words to describe the injustice that appears to have taken place in this case.
