Please ask the department of Defense why they persecute soldiers for doing the right thing. Ask them why the tell troops to let young boys get raped. Click on this link to let them know how you feel. https://kb.defense.gov/app/ask/

Homegrown heroes such as SFC Charles Martland are a valuable resource of this country and should be protected as such. There are few people who can achieve this level of bravery, intelligence not to mention the investment into him to train him to do what he did in Afghanistan instinctly and naturally. He was protecting an innocent boy from harm. That in itself is higher than foreign policy protecol. I am sick of the harrassment, abuse and downright threat to the lives of those that provide the service of protecting our country and our freedoms (now much more limited than previously). We can't even think or speak our minds if it doesn't meet with the PC of this administration. Does anyone else feel like they are living in Nazi regime?

Don't you dare punish this hero for protecting innocent children. We liberated Adghanistan and we have the right to dictate some basic human rights for their citizens.

More men should stand up against this kind of destructive behavior instead of turning a blind eye to a problem we all know exists. A soldier like this is the kind America needs. He protects those weaker and more powerless than him, which is more than I can say for our politicians in Washington.

This is one of the many reasons I chose to retire from the Army this year. The Military has lost its moral compass. We go in to countries and force democracy down the throats of barbarians who rape little boys and girls and then turn around and punish our own Soldiers for protecting a child. How does this make sense?
I had custody of 4 children for 3 months because FAP removed them from their abusive home......yet the Army did nothing to their father......because he was a buddy of his commander. This is why commanders should not have legal authority over Soldiers in EO, rape, domestic abuse and sexual harassment cases. Every IG in Europe was informed of LTC Lambs case yet nothing was done about him abusing his kids. Now i see this that this is coming from the top down. Shame on you for kicking this Soldier out for protecting a boy from rape. What if it was your boy?
Ethically bankrupt........and I can't explain how great it is to get out from under the republican stink that is our leadership.

What is wrong with our leaders? They are cowards. Plain and simple. Evil prevails when good men do nothing! This guy has true integrity.

How could the U.S. army punish someone for simply pushing down a pedophile? Lord help our armed forces if they don't reverse this insane decision and award him a medal. Patton is rolling in his grave.

While I understand we can never know the full story from the media, I want to voice my support for an American hero who supports justice and liberty - regardless of what it costs him. I'm deeply troubled by our troops being forced to support pedophiles in positions of power. I hope the media continues to shine a bright light on this issue - and I'm so proud of this man for standing up for what is truly right.

What has happened to this soldier is Ludacris!!! What happened to Army Values and the NCO Creed? They get punished now for living by these that they swore to uphold? So sad, this needs to be made right by him and any other that has been punished!!!!
Continue on!
Do the right thing!!! Protect our troops.
If he wants to stay in, allow him to do so.
this is so easy, do the right thing
He is my hero!
