It is an outrage that the US Army would abandon one of their own outstanding members in an effort to "not offend" a CHILD RAPIST. DESPICABLE! Give Charles Martland the chance he deserves to continue his stellar career and service to our nation.

This man is a hero! How dare the Army Kick him out! He saved a child and his Mother from a horrible fate. He should be reinstated and give a medal now!

SFC Charles Martland displayed the kind of character that makes me proud to be American. He should not be punished for that.

I am British though I lived in the US for three years when I was young.
This man is everything the US should be proud of. The men who dare to condemn him are everything the US should be ashamed of..Mr. Martland you can look others in the face, knowing you have done your duty. May the Lord bless you and your family.

Let the army do their job like any true American would do. Keep the politicians in DC and out of military business

It would be a complete misapplication of justice for you to get discharged for doing what's right. Proud that people like you are wearing the uniform. A hero, in my mind.

There is no reason to discharge this man. The service has no honor & is a despicable coward to do this to an honorable serviceman. This is what happens when you put a queer in charge of the military!

SFC Charles Martland is an outstanding Green Beret of proven moral fiber, integrity, and courage who has fallen victim to widespread Army drawdown policies that should not apply to this great hero. Exonerate him from all charges.

I serve, I would do the same thing in his place, I want SFC Martland exonerated of all charges and sent back to do his job.

Defending those who are in need but unable to defend themselves is the moral guidestar of the US Armed Forces. SFC Martland has shown himself to ideally represent the moral courage to confront one who does evil to a helpless child and then laughs about getting away with it. I am truly humbled by simply being able to show support for SFC Martland in this small way.

An honorable man is punished for being an honorable man. We are supposed to stand by while there saving these ungrateful pedophiles and watch them rape children? SFC Charles Martland should be given a medal for standing up for what is right and moral. If this is obama's policy, get our troops out of the entire middle east.
