If they want the same prize money, they should have to play the same game rules ie best of 5 sets
Even if, as claimed, scheduling restricts implementing 5 set matches for women, there is no excuse for not making it mandatory for finals/semi finals when when competition for court space is minimal!
THEY WANT EQUAL MONEY SO THEY BETTER PLAY 5 SETS. END OF STORY.
Hard to justify the current pay gap when the men are out there sweating through 5 sets and the women are done in 3. Makes no sense.
Equal pay demands equal effort. Nobody should get paid the same to play fewer sets its just simple math.
