stop the land invasions in westville (Severn rd)

I totally and fully agree with the view points raised by the Westville community. Why should we as Law abiding, Tax paying Citizens continuously have to put up with this lawlessness. Our saftey and that of our Children is comprimised, our basic ammenities are tampered with and stolen, our homes and properties are invaded.....and all the while Zuma and his Natal stronghold carry on regardless of the Law. Time for "The (Tax Paying) People" to rise up and stand together....time for Communities to show support for one another....time to put an end to this wanton disregard and disrespect of peaceful peoples and their properties. This is the ploy of the ANC Government, do little or nothing to assist the Communities, let the masses run rampant and sooner or later those same Communities will begin to leave their homes and their roots. Stand strong and MAKE the Authorities understand....NO MORE....!!!!!!

Land invasions never have been and never will be. There is no infrastructure. People who live their will have no electricity, no running water, no sanitation.. a breeding place for disease and germs and detrimental for the land and the people who are invading. As a rate payer. I pay as a portion of my rates to assist communities that are established and are managed by municipalities for the betterment of the people in their areas . I do pay for land invasion and a worsening situation for all concerned.

Land invasion is a risk on our lives

Land invasion not acceptable as it affects the entire Westville area. As rate payers it will affect adversely

Please may the authorities assist with prevention and management of land invasion. We support efforts for all to access homes in a fair and law abiding manner.

I'm against land evasion, would prefer a productive engagement with the community concerned

Whilst I understand the need for our people to have homes to live we cannot allow gangsters and thugs to invade land illegally

Even if land invasion is through desperation, it is an unlawful act and it is up to the authorities to take appropriate action. The law must protect all.

I came from the same Chesterville community, through sacrifice, worked my way out of poverty. I can't have everything I worked so hard for taken away by ppl who've had the same opportunities as I.

I am against unauthorised occupation of land and building of shack in and around my area. This will result in increased crime and devalue our properties.
