The orcas in SeaWorld amusement parks are some of the main attractions, however, what you don't know is the back-stage live of these animals. They are kept in tiny boxes which to them are only about the size of a bathtub, mothers and calves are separated from each other, they are abused, and live a much shorter life (the average is about 9 years for them) than wild orcas (that can live up to 90 years). The way SeaWorld accumulates its orcas is unbearable to watch or hear about: they round up all the orcas in a pod, separate the young ones, and then slaughter the rest.
