The orcas in SeaWorld amusement parks are some of the main attractions, however, what you don't know is the back-stage live of these animals. They are kept in tiny boxes which to them are only about the size of a bathtub, mothers and calves are separated from each other, they are abused, and live a much shorter life (the average is about 9 years for them) than wild orcas (that can live up to 90 years). The way SeaWorld accumulates its orcas is unbearable to watch or hear about: they round up all the orcas in a pod, separate the young ones, and then slaughter the rest.

its heartbreaking to watch those poor things swimming in circles all day. they belong in the ocean not performing tricks for tourists!! shut it down.
