Recently, the states have eliminated all except the dog as a service animal. Many animals are companions that bring comfort to the ill and handicapped, relieve depression, anxiety, give warnings on many disease processes and impending seizures, cancers, and many other maladies. We must get the states and Federal government to reverse this very stupid new law. Please sign and support this petition to include any animal that provides some type service to the ill or handicapped person. my bird found my cancer, she keeps me alive when I stop breathing in my sleep by wiggling on me or biting my lip if I do not wake up. My little dog sleeps by my head and does similar things to wake me up. They both provied companionship, safety and warnings, and reduce my depression that is a result of my being handicapped. They both warn me of a person who might be potentially dangerous to me by their intuitiveness. The list is long what they do to serve me.
