Burying it on the beach in the firsts place is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The containers are not made for the erosion process of sand and water. It's an accident waiting to happen and y'all are ignoring that fact.

The treatment of high level nuclear rods in a careless manner needs to stop. Public officials need to pay attention to what is occurring around them.

Resident within a 10mile radius of the San Onofre contamination site. 92624. The fact that the will and safety of the Citizens is being ignored is a gross failure of the NRC which has abdicated regulatory responsibility to Industry for short term financial gain. This is crime, and should not go unpunished.

We need the City Councils to pass an ordinance requiring a hot cell on site at SANO to isolate problem canisters and we need an ordinance requiring independent real time radiation information on the internet.

I don't want to be stuck with my mortgage for land I can neither inhabit nor sell due to community wide radiation poisoning from San Onofre.

A nuclear accident at San Onofre would not only affect San Clemente but several other Orange County cities.

Stop moving forward until you can assure our safety.

I have been a local resident of south Oc for 53 years, and I have been fearing the nuclear site the entire time. Please take into consideration the anxiety that this issue brings so many of us- and it is preventable! Get rid of the waste!

This is the most important issue for me

I warned in 1979 about the problem of safely storing nuclear waste from power plants. All U.S. nuclear power plants will be closed and then become very dangerous storage areas. The waste is highly radioactive and will last for thousands of years.

Please stop nuclear and keep us safe

The Plutonium-239 isotope in the spent nuclear fuel has a half life of 24,110 years. however it will be danger and deadly for 1000 times that long. We have to be extremely careful about how and where it is stored. Please take these concerns seriously. Thank you.
