I am from Somonauk High School and will be graduating here shortly. I think it's crazy to be part of a district that wants to send you off into the "real world" but doesn't allow freedom of expression. Very inappropriate, don't ya think?

As a fellow senior at Liberty High School in Liberty, IL, I believe this rule should be revoked. Students don't put innapropriate and rude things on their caps. It's simply a way for them to celebrate graduating and make the boring cap and gown more "them". It is something that individuals put a lot of time and thought into. I can not wait to decorate my cap for my upcoming graduation. It's something I've been looking forward to since I was a sophomore. Don't take away students' celebration and individualism.
