This will be the tenth anniversary of the horrible attack on our great nation. And although it will never be forgotten, and should never be "celebrated," I believe that making the day a national holiday will continue to help our nation heal from these events. A kind of "civilian" based Memorial Day. It will help lift the moral of citizens nationwide during these difficult times by saying that we will never forget. That the "government" in fact still cares about its people. It will give hope that better time are on their way. And in addition to what it does for our people, it will tell other persons worldwide that may want to harm us. That it is in fact useless to do so, because we will never fall, never except defeat, and most importantly we will overcome any hardship.
