Walking in to Marian on my first day of freshman year I was exceptionally unenthusiastic about my next four years. However, as soon as I stepped through the doors and heard the music, I felt the excitement that the seniors had about the new school year. I knew I was going to have a ton of fun at Marian. Let us seniors carry on this welcoming tradition for the class of 2022 and the rest of the student body by letting us fill the hallways with lively music to mark the beginning of another great year to come!

Let us play music, it helps everyone wake up and get excited for class.
Music relaxes people & occasionally hearing it in the hallways is fun! The senior tradition communicates to freshmen and other students that Marian, though a catholic, all-girls school, is still a cool place to be where administration lets kids be kids sometimes by taking a few minutes in between classes to take a break. Please don't let this fun allowance be eliminated from the Marian experience! - Haley Lockwood, '90
