So disappointing that our kids wait to be a part of this for four years and then it is cancelled because a small minority of students or faculty are offended. Instead of letting minority rule, would a better option not be to pre-approve the skits and allow any students or faculty that are offended the option not to attend? This is absolutely preposterous.

As a JL Mann alumni I think it's ridiculous to have this taken away. Senior skits are something students get excited about in freshman year and was one of the highlights of my senior year.

Being on the Talismann Staff, I participated in senior skits all four years of high school and even wrote and directed them my senior year. Every single year the people who are mentioned in the skits are notified AND given the opportunity to see the script of the skit they are in and then given the option to accept or decline their role being included- administration knows this and attends skits every year. Senior Skits are a tradition at JL Mann and the "conflict" that caused administration to cancel them came from someone who was not mentioned and did not know the approval process the Talismann Staff goes through to make sure that those mentioned are okay with what is being said. JL Mann getting rid of a senior tradition like Senior Skits is heartbreaking and uncalled for.

Senior skits add comedy relief to 4 years of straineous work. The class of 2016 deserves this priveledge.

As a parent of a senior this year at JL Mann we are extremely upset by the canceling of Senior Skit. Our daughter has looked forward to this since she was a little freshman on campus. We are requesting that you have senior skits this year and not take that away from the class of 2016!
