It's a big disappointment when the school decides to place the idea of censorship above not only patriot tradition but the happiness of the students. It is obvious that the reason why this was implemented was that someone in a position of power (to some extent) fears possible legal action and or complaints coming from an upset student or parents who think that people may be offended etc. In reality, it has never caused any issues and should remain as it is and has been for a long time. While some skits could be deemed innappropriate, it does not do anyone any harm and is all in good fun. Let the students enjoy themselves, stop worrying, and keep the skits. Thank you.

I know I'm a big douche bag and have no real reason to cancel senior skits. The only reason why I decided to was to make J.L. Mann a dull boring school.

As a parent I support this petition because taking so many things like the senior bell, spirit week events, and senior skits is ridiculous. People who appear in those skits sign and agree to everything in it. Get a thicker skin reality isn't "protecting" you 24/7.
