The traditions of hanging senior murals has been around since before my sister went to school here. She's now 33 and married with children. Whenever she comes to an event at school she loves seeing the mural of her graduating year, and all the new ones that have been hung since. I only wish that our senior class this year could add to the beautiful walls of Wego. If the murals come down, the school will become bland and uninteresting which is the opposite of what West Chicago High School is. Walking past murals filled with memories brightens the hallways and brightens people's day. To take them down would take away an artistic look on the history and memory of the past senior classes.

Keep the murals, our school would be a little less cheerful without them. School is about students and education, not white walls.

All of the murals are apart of the Wildcat culture. Without them the walls will be barren. The art in the hallways inspires creativity in the minds of the students. Don't let the creativity die!

I was class of 2002 and when I found out that you guys were going to remove the murals. I was truly upset, it's a WEST CHICAGO HIGH SCHOOL TRADITION! Please don't remove them!

The murals bring color and history into that high school! I hated all the sports pictures being taken down. They brought character to the school and I can't imagine the murals being taken down either.

The murals are an important element that helps in constructing the unique nature WEGO is known for and removing them would be a disgrace not only to the classes those murals pertain to, but also to the upcoming classes who will miss out on the beauty of WEGO's past.

The senior murals emphasis each year's cultural and school influence. Taking them down will just harm school spirit and pride.

Seeing these murals shows current students what was important to that senior class at the time. It's important to see what events happened in that year especially the mural from 2001. Truly hope the murals stay.
Must Stay.
Don't take down tradition!!
