The Property Tax Senior Freeze Exemption $55,000 Income Cap has not been raised since 2008. In 2015 dollars this would be $60,800. If Senior's income goes over $55,000 they lose the exemption and in some case the property tax doubles! Please sign this petition and ask our State General Assembly to raise the income cap. The following points need to be passed into law.

1) RAISE THE SENIOR FREEZE INCOME LIMIT TO $75,000.

2) GIVE A CERTIFICATE OF ERROR TO THE SENIORS TO GO BACK 3 YEARS TO
RECOUP ANY MONEY THEY WOULD HAVE SAVED AND PAID BECAUSE THE LIMIT
WAS TOO LOW.
