Do not release greenbelt but build in more sustainable locations on the edges of towns, not rural villages.

It's busy enough on the roads rounds here, without more homeowners with two cars. The pollution is also very high, and being asthmatic it going to have a huge impact on my breathing. My house is on the main road and the drivers on the roads never let me out of my drive, it's going to be near on impossible with an increase in traffic due to more housing. Also, if what I have just been told is true, where is the water going to go if they build on the flood land.

I have lived in Sendmarsh on and off for 30 years. I now live with my wife and 3 year old son and despite being on the move again soon, it would be catastrophic for the local communities of Send, Sendmarsh, Burntcommon and Ripley, if this development of a "new town" were to go ahead. The area is steeped in history which would effectively be destroyed and lost forever. I vehemently object to a development on this scale on greenbelt land of such significant heritage.
Our rural village will be no more. We all live here for a reason, it is in the countryside. If you build more houses we will need more schools, doctors, supermarkets. We will have no countryside left, and all trees and wildlife will be killed. Put affordable housing in cities not rural areas. If people can't afford to live here, go somewhere else!

There should be no encroachment of Green Field - whilst there are so many brown field sites - Roads and services are already over stretched and the communities are suffering.

Any redevelopment in Surrey should be concentrated on if not restricted to 'brown-field' sites which approach has resulted in an average of 322 new homes per year for the last 15 years. There is no reason why this should not continue, but this has been largely overlooked by Guildford Borough Council and their consultants.

Common sense dictates that Send will suffer enormously with additional housing projects. Please do not destroy the nature, beauty, harmony & safety of the village and surrounding area.The infrastructure currently is not good and and with the proposed development it will be in "meltdown" bringing chaos affecting social needs & attitudes.
