Stephen Harper has a propensity for stripping a planet of it's Natural Resources, and the adventurous people of Mars are going to need his services in order to survive the Red Planet! Stephen Harper clearly wants to be the single and sole leader of the world, if he can leave Earth and make the 8 month trip to Mars, he betters his chances! 
His carefully honed talents for muzzling Environmental Scientists who warn him about the Tar Sands & Pipelines dangers, will come in very handy against the Solar wind storms!
His penchant for ignoring First Nation Treaty Rights and Hunger Strikes that plead for his immediate attention will make the worrisome and gruelling trip that much easier. These traits have earned Harper our very best efforts to win him this one way ticket off of Earth. 

Let's make Stephen's dreams of being a world leader come true and solve Canada's problems! Let's give the BBC an applicant they CAN NOT REFUSE!
