I can't think of a student body more inspiring and progressive than the students at LACHSA. I think having Bernie speak at their graduation would not only inspire them to continue to do the impossible but shed light on the power and determination of these students for the rest of the world to see. The school I go to now needs to see the kind of things you guys do. The kids in schools like mine feel powerless and are constantly disrespect and taken advantage of. They are taught to put their heads down and do what they are told dispite the sexism and injustice they face daily. These schools instill so much fear into them that they end up giving up on politics and change after high school. This would be such a light for students in schools all across America. And undoubtedly Bernie Sanders would be the most inspired of all. You guys deserve this. Much love.
