I fully support Senate Bill 424. It is essential that Louisiana recognize that lifers who were very young at the time of incarceration and who have served a significant number of years are statistically are not likely to be repeat offenders.

I believe these people need to be given something to hope for that can be obtained while they still have life in them to turn there lives around instead of exploiting them and then releasing them once they are of no real value. Change this cycle.
